The workshop is aimed at Handpan players who already have basic knowledge and who would like to deepen it. Technical subtleties, rhythmic concepts and ideas, interplay of chords and the development of own pieces, how to build improvisations, these are all aspects that are individually tailored to the participants, in addition, percussion instruments such as Cajon, Udu, etc. can be incorporated into the common play. As a teacher, I have years of experience and can cater well to different levels and combine them.
Participation in the workshop is only possible with registration.

About the organizer
Markus Reich – Percussion Reich
Markus Reich spielt Handpans seit 2008 und arbeitet als professioneller Perkussionist in verschiedenen Bands. Er ist ist als Multiperkussionist in zahlreichen Stilistiken zu Hause. Er hat langjährige Unterrichtserfahrung und ist Dozent für unterschiedlichste Institutionen, u.a. für die UNI Gießen. In seinem Unterricht geht er auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse der Teilnehmer*innen ein und bietet eine profunde Beratung und tiefen Einblick in die faszinierende Handpanwelt. Darüber hinaus bietet er ein Konzertprogramm an (Handpan & Meer).
