Heidelberg - Beginners Part 1 Handpan Workshop

Fernando Lyra offers regular handpan workshops for beginners in Heidelberg. Basic drumming techniques, position of the notes and hand-to-hand beginner grooves are the main components of the Beginner Part 1 workshop. There are also the following advanced courses, which can be booked independently:Contents of the advanced courses:Beginner Part 2: Further development of beginner grooves and backbeat grooves Beginner Part 3: Further development of beginner grooves, hand-to-hand grooves, backbeat grooves and grooves without ding Beginner Part 4: Patterns from Once Again (Hang Massive) and Urban (Kate Stone), arpeggios in 3/4 and 4/4 time   The workshops are held with D Celtic Minor handpans, but can also be transferred to any other handpan with a few minor adjustments.
Instruments are available for the workshops, but you are also welcome to bring your own!
Depending on the level of the participants, we can flexibly adapt the different lessons.
We will also have small relaxation moments to talk a little and maybe jam a little 🙂 After the workshops, you will also have the opportunity to rent a handpan to continue practicing what you have learned at home and develop your playing independently. If you buy a Handpan, the rental fees will be charged 100% with the purchase price. Participation in the workshops is only possible with registration.
