This three-hour handpan beginners’ workshop is suitable for anyone who would like to get to know this wonderful instrument better. No previous experience is necessary. I will show you the touch technique, first playing techniques and tell you all sorts of interesting facts about the handpan.
We will also play handpan together in a group and try out simple melodies and rhythms.
The handpans for the workshop will be provided. After the workshop you also have the option of renting a handpan to continue practicing what you have learned at home or to develop your playing further on your own. If you buy a Handpan, the rental fees will be charged 100% with the purchase price. Participation in the workshop is only possible with registration. If you have any questions, please get in touch.

Ich heiße Melanie und ich habe, seit ich denken kann, eine riesengroße Leidenschaft für Musik! Bereits mit 11 Jahren habe ich angefangen, begeistert Schlagzeug zu spielen und die Welt des Rhythmus für mich zu entdecken. 2019 hielt ich nach einem Workshop dann meine erste Handpan in den Händen, nachdem ich jahrelang schon den Wunsch hatte, dieses faszinierende UFO endlich mal genauer kennenzulernen. Wenn ich Handpan spiele, fühlt es sich oft wie eine Art Meditation und ein tiefes "bei mir ankommen" an. Manchmal spiele ich aber auch gerne ganz technisch und übe an meiner Fingerfertigkeit. Beides ist auf der Handpan wunderbar möglich. Sehr gerne kombiniere ich auch die Handpan mit Gesang und anderen Instrumenten. Für mich ist die Handpan mittlerweile ein treuer Wegbegleiter geworden, den ich nicht mehr missen möchte und vielleicht geht es dir ja bald ähnlich ;-)
