My name is Melanie and I’ve had a huge passion for music for as long as I can remember!
I started playing the drums enthusiastically at the age of 11 and discovered the world of rhythm for myself.
In 2019, after a workshop, I held my first handpan in my hands after years of wanting to finally get to know this fascinating UFO better.
When I play the handpan, it often feels like a kind of meditation and a deep “coming to myself”.
But sometimes I also like to play very technically and practise my dexterity.
Both are wonderfully possible on the handpan.
I also like to combine the handpan with vocals and other instruments.
For me, the handpan has become a faithful companion that I wouldn’t want to be without and maybe you’ll soon feel the same way 😉
