The focus is on getting to know and trying out different handpans, the first basic playing techniques are taught and fundamental concepts are introduced. The focus is on having fun playing and exploring the numerous sound possibilities of the handpan.
Instruments will be provided for the workshop.

About the organizer
Markus Reich – Percussion Reich
Markus Reich spielt Handpans seit 2008 und arbeitet als professioneller Perkussionist in verschiedenen Bands. Er ist ist als Multiperkussionist in zahlreichen Stilistiken zu Hause. Er hat langjährige Unterrichtserfahrung und ist Dozent für unterschiedlichste Institutionen, u.a. für die UNI Gießen. In seinem Unterricht geht er auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse der Teilnehmer*innen ein und bietet eine profunde Beratung und tiefen Einblick in die faszinierende Handpanwelt. Darüber hinaus bietet er ein Konzertprogramm an (Handpan & Meer).
