In this advanced handpan course you will learn how to create your own rhythms and grooves on the handpan. You do NOT need any music theory prerequisites, because you can learn to create and play rhythm without in-depth knowledge of sheet music. We “cultivate” and remain in the hand-to-hand technique, because this regular alternation of your two hands gives you orientation in your rhythm playing and makes counting very easy. You will immerse yourself intensively in this game and be amazed at how easily and without help you can immerse yourself in other rhythmic spheres of your handpan playing after the course.
PS: The intention of the course is not to memorize a groove in order to be able to play something. It’s about getting in touch with everything that’s already inside you and getting your creative juices flowing.
The course is LEVEL INDEPENDENT! The only requirement is that you already know how to play the handpan (you can learn this in a beginner’s course, for example).
