The handpan is an instrument that fascinates and captivates many people with its unique sound.
As the tones on the handpan harmonize well with each other, playing the handpan is relatively easy to learn, even for people with no previous musical knowledge.
By learning touch techniques and simple rhythms and melodies, atmospheric soundscapes can be created.
The workshops take place in small groups with a maximum of 5-6 participants.
I can provide you with various high-quality hand pans. You also have the option of renting or buying a handpan. If you buy a Handpan, the rental fees will be charged 100% with the purchase price.
Participation in the workshop is only possible with registration and is aimed at beginners with previous knowledge.
About the organizer
Jochen Metze
Jochen Metze studierte am Conservatorium in Enschede Schlagwerk. Er ist seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten als Berufsmusiker mit verschiedenen Bandprojekten unterwegs. Genauso lange unterrichtet er Schlagzeug/Percussion und leitet mehrere Ensembles. Ausserdem gibt er Trommel- und Bandworkshops. Lange liebäugelte Jochen Metze mit der Handpan, bis er sich schließlich seinen Wunsch erfüllte. Nun gibt er mit großer Freude seine Erfahrung in Workshops und Unterricht weiter.
