The Groove Praxis drum2com regularly offers handpan workshops for beginners as well as advanced players in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere in Dortmund.
In the beginners’ workshop we learn the most important basics of handpan playing:
– Stop technique
– The most important rhythmic basics (very important!)
– Learn first groovy beat sequences
– Learning to play intuitively with melody and rhythm in the group
– Understanding dynamics

After the workshop you also have the option of renting a handpan so that you can continue to apply what you have learned at home and develop your playing independently. If you buy a Handpan, the rental fees will be charged 100% with the purchase price.

Handpans will be provided for the course. You will also have the opportunity to discover and play different manufacturers and scales.

Participation in the workshop is only possible with registration.

Der erfahrene Live-/Studio Schlagzeuger, Perkussionist, Handpanspieler, Instrumentallehrbeauftragte (Universität Köln HF), und Rhythmus Coach unterrichtet nicht nur an den Instrumenten Schlagzeug, Perkussion und Handpan sondern hat auch seine eigene GroovePraxis drum2com, in der er auch die positiven gesundheitlichen Aspekte des Trommelns zum Stressabbau, Stärkung der Konzentration, Training der kognitiven Fähigkeiten des Gehirns und besser Koordination des Körpers im Allgemeinen vermittelt.
