Your first date with the Handpan. Relaxed arrival, the first touches, gentle caressing of the ears, soothing laughter and, above all, at your own pace.
In my workshop you will learn the basics of the handpan without heavy theory, but more trying out, learning percussion techniques, playing your first melodies, discovering rhythms and having fun.
The workshop takes place in a small group of max. 5 persons so that all curious questions can be answered. We will immerse ourselves in the world of the handpan for about 2 hours.
About the organizer
David Reich
David Reich ist ein Liebhaber von Rhythmus und fasziniert von Percussion. Als Schlagzeuger und Percussionist hat er die Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe besucht und in Musikprojekten verschiedener Genres gespielt. Das pädagogische Know-How wurde über mehr als 10 Jahre in Einzel- & Gruppenunterricht erprobt und geformt. Aktuell als Dozent für Schlagzeug, Percussion und speziell Handpan, vermittelt er die Freuden der Musik an der Schlagzeug- und Rhythmus-Schule "DrummerCircle" in Karlsruhe. Zudem ist er als Solokünstler und in dem Duo PanCello unterwegs.
